In the LAUNCH phase, you officially open your business. You probably do not have many employees, if any, and most of your communication is informal. Your business is new and you do not yet have formal processes and procedures in place. In this phase of business development, you are figuring out what works. You may have to tweak your idea or its presentation to maximize your success. You have the basics, such as legal structure and location; now it is a matter of finding the best way to build on that foundation. Growth comes through direction and leadership but is frequently an issue.
